Mercedes-Benz brings ‘Service on Wheels’ to Guntur, Auto News, ET Auto

GUNTUR: India’s largest luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, today, with its long-standing partners Mahavir Motors announced the roll-out of its ‘Service on Wheels’ truck and star off-road experiential in Guntur. This is the first ever service and experiential event by Mercedes-Benz in Guntur under one roof.

The focus of both the customer-centric initiatives is to get closer to Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts in Tier II & Tier III cities. While the state-of-the-art ‘Service on Wheels’ truck provides doorstep service to customer, the uniquely curated brand experiential, star off-road, will act as a brick and mortar showroom for potential customers, enabling them to experience their favorite three pointed star SUV.

Martin Schwenk, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “India is amongst the fastest growing automotive hubs globally and Tier II and III markets are playing a significant role in this growth story. This year is an important year for us as we complete 25 years in India.”

He further added,” The first-of-its-kind ‘Service on Wheels’ initiative is aimed to further deepen our commitment for our patrons in smaller cities. Both the initiatives are a manifestation of our ‘Go To Customer’ strategy, we are always thinking of the best interests of our customers and acting upon it. With the support of our dedicated dealer partners across the country, we are confident of carrying out such programme across markets in India. With this initiative, we will continue to create a benchmark in luxury car industry by reiterating our commitment towards customer service and satisfaction.”
