New Delhi: After announcing the launch of Walmart based EV charging stations, Electrify America has partnered with ChargePoint to offer roaming charging points for the electric vehicles. This will help the owners on highways, where availability of charging stations are less. Also, this will help in expansion of zero emission mobility in coming days.

ChargePoint has already set up around 65,000 charging points across US. Now, this roaming charging stations will be a significant step from the company. This will help the drivers and businesses with faster adoption of EVs in transition to electric mobility, as it will ensue seamless mobility to the zero emission vehicles.

Also, the electric vehicle owners and drivers can charge their EVs on public chargers between both networks using their existing account credentials. This won’t cost them any additional fee. As ChargePoint says, this move will connect more than 30,000 Level 2 and DC fast chargers from two companies across US.
