New Delhi: In a view to optimise commuters safety, luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz debuted its autonomous van Vision Urbanetic at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 this week.
The platform-like chassis of Urbanetic is powered by batteries and is driven autonomously, the company said in a release.
As per the media reports, the vehicle, which can be used for passenger transport or good transport, has 353 cubic feet of space and easily accomodate 12 people. The interiors are equipped with large panoramic moonroof surrounded by an LED light display.
The Urbanetic makes use of various camera and sensor systems to fully perceive its surroundings and communicate actively with it.
